Studio Bloom Online

Launched online in 2018, Studio Bloom marked the first pre + postnatal fitness offering to go virtual. As a pioneer, Brooke faced skepticism but stood firm, driven by her observations and belief in the needs of mamas. Today, Studio Bloom stands tall with a commitment to personalized fitness, offering a range of workouts and coaching styles. Brooke has expanded her team to include top pre & postnatal fitness trainers, pelvic health professionals, and nutritionists.

The Birth of The Method

In 2009, Brooke delved into becoming a Certified Personal Trainer and Pre & Postnatal Corrective Exercise Specialist. Her hands-on work with hundreds of mamas led to the development of The Method, focusing on exercises to heal and prevent Diastasis Recti, incontinence, and other pregnancy-related injuries.

Tested and refined through client success, The Bloom Method's foundational techniques have empowered women worldwide. Brooke's signature move, the belly pump, has become a recognized technique for healing and preventing Diastasis Recti.

Hi! I'm Brooke Cates, the founder and CEO of The Bloom Method. Driven by a desire to fill a gap in the fitness industry, I founded The Bloom Method, with a mission to offer a holistic approach to pre and postnatal fitness that prioritizes safe, effective movement and personalized support. My goal is simple: to empower women to feel strong, confident, and supported throughout their journey to motherhood.

Through innovative programs and educational resources, I strive to reshape the conversation around pregnancy and postpartum health, providing women with the tools they need to thrive. My approach is rooted in a deep understanding of movement science, anatomy, and holistic wellness, allowing me and my team to offer tailored programs that meet the unique needs of each individual.

I'm incredibly grateful to have the opportunity to support women on their journey to motherhood, and I'm constantly inspired by the strength and resilience of the women I work with. Together, we're redefining what it means to be strong, healthy, and empowered during pregnancy and beyond.

Brooke Cates

Brooke Cates is the CEO and Founder of The Bloom Method. She developed Bloom's methodology while working with her in person clients at her Boulder, CO studio. While she began her journey with 1:1 clients, she shifted her method's to group fitness when she opened a premier fitness studio and launching the first ever pre + postnatal online fitness studio in 2018. Brooke is a Prenatal and Postnatal Exercise Specialist, Core Rehabilitation Specialist, and Holistic Health Coach. Brooke's passion is rooted in empowering women at every stage of motherhood to embrace a level of strength they didn't realize they were capable of.

Ashley Allen

Ashley Allen is a mama of 2, Certified Personal Trainer, Certified Pre/Postnatal fitness Specialist and Online Womens’ Fitness Coach located in Scottsdale, AZ. She brings her expertise and passion for strength training and helping mamas at every stage overcome obstacles, define their personal fitness goals, and work hard to reach them. Ashley's ability to help you completely transform your body is incredible impressive while the strength she leaves you will inspire you for years to come.

Kerry Audie

Kerry's passion for fitness is rooted in wanting to stay healthy and strong for her three children and the demands of the motherhood journey. Following her first pregnancy in 2016, The Bloom Method helped her to heal a significant injury-based diastasis recti and also closed the gap in care that she became aware of. Since then, Kerry has become a NASM certified personal trainer, a pre and postnatal corrective exercise specialist and also holds certifications in barre, kettlebells, yoga sculpt and more. Kerry hopes you leave her classes feeling strong, empowered, capable and appreciated.

Sophia Boedecker

Sophia has been teaching yoga for 9 years. She received 800 hours of certification In Nosara, Costa Rica. Her passion for embodied movement and meditation shapes her classes and who she is in life. She joined The Bloom Team the same weekend she became pregnant with her son, and has taught and used the Method from conception through postpartum. Her goal is to inspire other women to feel strong, empowered, and more connected to their bodies than they ever have been through pregnancy, birth, and beyond.

Georgette Dunn

Georgette is one of Bloom's premier yoga instructors based in Dallas, TX and the PROUD Owner + Founder of Flow Mind Body Soul studio .
Georgette has over 12 years of experience in teaching various styles of yoga, from vinyasa to restorative, and she loves to share her knowledge and enthusiasm with her students. Georgette’s mission is to inspire people to live more authentically, joyfully, and peacefully by cultivating a balanced mind, body, and soul.

Cathriona Fey is a Certified Personal Trainer and Barre Instructor, based in Chicago and specializing in pre/postnatal fitness. She is a Pre and Postnatal Corrective Exercise Specialist and Diastasis Core Consultant who trains new and expectant mothers through movements that support core health, activities of daily living, posture and alignment, and pelvic health. Cathriona is passionate about fitness and the importance of movement at all stages of life – especially during the adventures of motherhood.

Donatella Fino

Donatella Fino is a licensed massage therapist, certified lymphatic therapist, and fitness instructor with a focus in barre and pilates. Donatella has always been an athlete, completing various races, from relays and 5ks to half and full marathons. Donatella brings her alignment and engagement principles into every fitness class she instructs. She uses alignment and engagement to show women what it means to be healthy and that it goes far deeper than the number on the scale and size of the clothes.

Amy Harris

Amy Harris has roots in professional ballet and is now certified in Vinyasa Yoga, Yin Yoga, Hot Yoga, and Yoga Sculpt. She has a Masters in Spiritual Science and is an Intuitive Coach and Communications Consultant. With a talent for educating and human connection, Amy has lead over 20 yoga immersions, retreats and teacher trainings internationally and at the corporate level. "The Bloom Method appears to be pre and postnatal fitness, but it's actually a legitimate women's empowerment movement."

Danielle join’s The Bloom Method team with training experience in cycle, barre, HIIT and pilates, a past-life DJing and study in somatic/energy work. Her favorite part of teaching is fusing all of these components to create a class that will give you the feels in your body + mind + soul, every time.

Charlene is a Master Personal Trainer with a background with The Daily Method, Fierce45 and currently at Rise Nation. She loves how The Bloom Method helps mamas strengthen her core safely after giving birth and how it enhances other workout modalities.

Kaitlyn Wozinak

Kaitlyn is a fitness professional based in the DC area with over a decade of experience and education. Along with specializing in pre and postnatal fitness, she is also a birth doula. Kaitlyn blends her knowledge of human anatomy, women's strength coaching, and childbirth education to provide a holistic and efficient approach to her programming. When she's not working with her clients, she is spending time with her husband, two kiddos, Rhys and Betty, and two Great Danes.

Kelly Sammis is a physical therapist, educator of dry needling and all things pelvic, Pilates instructor, wife, and mama living and working in Parker, Colorado. Her for treatment in our discipline is pelvic health and wellness. She specializes are sports performance, male and female pelvic floor dysfunction, dry needling, nutrition, and Pilates.
